The Toronto Sun in its Saturday edition of the newspaper (Nov 16, 2013 ), issued a clarification and apology to Shaikh Faisal. The clarification and apology are regarding articles the Toronto Sun published on August 28, and 29, 2013. The Toronto Sun wrote in the clarification “The Sun regrets the error and apologizes to Shaikh Razak.” (Toronto Sun Nov 16, 2013).

Shaykh Faisal believes that under the circumstances the apology published is inadequate and intends to pursue a claim for damages.
